Weekly G station hunt

The team behind fledgling gay and lesbian lifestyle program The Weekly G have reached an important milestone — their pilot, filmed in May, is nearing the end of post-production and is almost ready for viewing. Now, the hunt is on to find a home for The Weekly G.
The show’s creative team, spearheaded by presenter/producers Kirk Goodsell and Serena Ryan, aim to launch the show on a major Australian network in 2010. But they can’t do it alone — both Goodsell and Ryan said that evidence of public support and interest in the show will form an integral part of their success in shopping The Weekly G to television networks.
“If the public gets behind The Weekly G to bring it to a free-to-air Australian network, the show will surely find its home in the near future,” they said.
The pair are asking everyone to show their support for the program by joining The Weekly G Facebook group and sending emails of support to info@theweeklyg.com.au
